The Financial Industry Seminar on Global Financial Institutions in Fukuoka and the Cutting Edge of the Linkage between Digital and Financial Industries were hosted on Kyushu University’s Ito Campus on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.

Part 1 comprised of lectures titled “The Global Economy and Japan, and the Role of State Street” (translated title) by State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of State Street Bank and Trust Company as a U.S. based global financial institution, and also it has an office in Fukuoka. In Part 2, three FinTech companies that recently expanded into Fukuoka held a panel discussion on topics such as the career prospects after joining a company.

Approximately 70 students at School of Economics and its Department　participated the seminar attentively, and many approached the speakers with questions afterwards.
